SELF CARE SUNDAY: THE ORDINARY, BARIBONI, & CHANEL.
I've always kept it pretty simple when it comes to skincare. I like to use natural products, and homemade remedies. As of late, I've been very interested in natural oils. I love the way they make my skin feel and look, plus my face stays moisturized for the entire day.
I recently purchased a few The Ordinary products and they are really amazing.
From left to right: 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil, Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%, and Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%.
The Moroccan Argan Oil can be used on both your face and hair, which I love. It supports healthy hair, and hydrates skin. The Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution is a brightening serum with stabilized vitamin C derivative. The Vitamin C Suspension helps with skin tone and signs of aging. This one I don't use as often, but it's nice to have to use about once a week.
If you're in NYC, you can purchase these products and more goodies, over at DECIEM The Abnormal Beauty Company at 26 Prince Street. If not, they are super accessible online, like at Sephora.com.
Alongside The Ordinary products, I've been using these great BaraBoni coconut mask sheets. I'm a little coconut obsessed, being that it can serve so many purposes! I really love the way the mask sheets make my skin feel after using them. You can buy assorted packs or individuals, in beauty stores and online. Some of my favorite main ingredients are Aloe, Pomegranate, Cucumber, and Honey.
You can't forget about your lips when taking care of your face. With this NYC wind and cold weather, my lips have required a little extra attention. I use lip scrubs and masks, and then apply Chanel Hydra Beauty afterwards. It's also nice to do right before bed, if you want to wake up with super smooth lips.
Keep me posted on if you add these items into your skincare routine, and if you have any products you suggest to keep skin smooth and bright!
