NYFW: Burberry
Day 1 started with Burberry. How sick is this campaign!?
Farren and I hit the 57th Street location to enjoy music, drinks, and good company. If you’ve never visited the location, it’s a whopping 6 floors!
We had the pleasure of meeting some great people. With Ricardo Tisci taking over, I’m excited to see the shift in Burberry. They’ve already hit the ground running with some dope patterned shirts that we immediately fell in love with.
Is this the new wave? I appreciate that they still offer what they are known for, but, they are headed in a direction that streetwear culture can appreciate. Chunky sneakers, bold branded pieces, and statement coats!
Dress: Zara, Shoe: Louis Vuitton, Bag: Chanel
We couldn’t go without bringing a sick piece home! It’s always so fun for me to style Farren, and so we went with this short sleeve archive scarf print silk shirt! It looks bomb on him, and I can’t wait to see him take it for a spin!
How do you feel about the shift happening at Burberry? Will you be copping any of their future releases?
Check out my Instagram story, @kingdes for a closer look.

Vint & York
I have been getting a lot of questions in regards to my latest spectacles. Here’s the deets:
Vint and York!
They have a bunch of cool styles for both men and women, ranging from sunglasses to optical. My favorite part is how affordable they are! Great quality, amazing styles, array of colors, you can’t go wrong!
The Copa, priced at $129
The Copa was my first pair from Vint & York. I then got the Chelsea, which are originally sunglasses, but I got them customized as just optical. I’m eyeing a clear pair next!
The Chelsea, priced at $129
If you’re in NY, you can check out their Nolita location, at 247 Elizabeth Street. Their store offers 20-minute service for most prescriptions and custom lens options, which is bomb. You can also shop them online as well, where they have a super cool try on feature! www.vintandyork.com

Summer in NYC
Summer is flying by if you ask me!
I honestly never know what to expect from the weather, so I like to be prepared. On one of those, "is it hot, or is it REALLY hot?" days, I like to carry with a light weight jacket, or sweatshirt. Sometimes the mornings are a bit breezier than the afternoons, or if I'm indoors and the AC is on blast, I'm ready for it.
I paired my spaghetti strap ribbed dress from Topshop, with my vintage graphic football sweatshirt. Of course the Off-White kicks to keep it comfy.
Gotta keep some good socks!
A pair of white sneakers and a black leather bag are staple!
You can achieve this look too! Try a midi skirt with a tee, and grab a denim jacket. The Show Off Sweatshirt is perfect to throw over for cooler mornings or freezing movie theater date nights.

Crossbranding, and why it’s not real.
Who the fuck invented “crossbranding”? I’m here to tell you that shit is not real.
I literally can’t wear Nike socks with Yeezys anymore because I get comments under my Instagram pics like:
“Ya cross brandin. 🤦🏾♂️”
Can you believe a “man” commented that? Like stfu honestly. If you don’t have anything positive to say don’t say anything at all.
Isn’t fashion about wearing whatever the fuck you want?
*Goes off on rant*
SB: I definitely have never cursed on any of my blog post like that. I like it.
This is King Des and I’m here to tell you that cross branding does not fucking matter. Not everyone is walking around in a full Gucci head to toe look, and that’s OK. Wear whatever you want.
I love a good logo. I think it’s fun to mix them up honestly.
I clearly like to mix up jewels too! Celine, Lolita Yang, custom buddha.. it goes on!
R13 harem shorts, Margiela Tabi booties.

I'M ON VACATION.. IN MY HEAD
This weather has really been insane. I never really know what to expect!
Since today was a beautiful 80 degrees, I got dressed like I was on vacation!
I absolutely LOVE layering my necklaces!
One of my favorite bags. The perfect size.
ZARA! $49.90
I wore one of my favorites - my green Zara velvet dress, and threw my ONS button up over! VOILA, A SKIRT! My slides are also from Zara!
My look is super easy to achieve! You can pair a silky dress or skirt, with a graphic tee over, and accessories! Fun jewelry, a hat, and a cool bag. Now you too are on vacation!
Slippers: Saint Laurent
Dress: Zara
Hat: Lack of Color
Earrings: Forever 21

I had the pleasure of attending their event April 20th, to check out the drop. Burton knows how to party! Drinks and food were flowing while upbeat tunes set the vibe. You could get a fresh manicure upstairs, then hit downstairs for some cool ass prints! I went with "Don't be scared to be a bitch" and "The now is female". I can't wait to frame them!
You can shop the collection at Burton's Soho location, or online at www.burton.com
